The Old Town Temecula Community Theater is a contemporary, state-of-the-art proscenium theater located in the heart of Old Town Temecula. Opened in 2005, the theater is accessed through the historic landmark Mercantile Building from the 1890s, blending historic charm with modern performance facilities. The theater features two performance spaces: a 354-seat proscenium theater and a 48-seat Club at The Merc (black box theatrical space). The facility includes a 36-foot wide proscenium, 80 by 35-foot stage, balcony and box seats, courtyard, dance studio, gallery, orchestra pit, dressing rooms, rehearsal rooms, and scene shop.
