Old Town Temecula is a walkable historic district located in the heart of Temecula Valley in Southern California. The district developed around 1883 when the Southern California Railroad brought travelers and commerce to the area. Many buildings date from the 1880s-1920s, featuring rustic western-era architecture reminiscent of the golden west era. The district offers a blend of historic and modern amenities including shopping (boutiques, antique stores, vintage shops), dining and craft breweries, museums, entertainment venues, a weekly farmers market, and wine tasting rooms. Notable historic buildings include Hotel Temecula (1891), The Bank (1914), The Welty Building (1890s), and The Burnham Store (1890s).
